Working together to help the Children of Chernobyl
Daniel Appleton of Insight Financial associates is pictured presenting an initial cheque for £1,500 in support of the local charity Diss Friends of the Children Of Chernobyl (DFOCC).
Radiation contamination present in the crop growing soil of Chernobyl takes one month to leave the body of children but thanks to DFOCC children spend a month each year for five years enjoying the fresh clean air of Norfolk, returning home healthy. The charity is funding 14 children by flying them to the UK on 22 July to help provide good food and plenty of fun and laughter alongside necessary medical checks.
