Insight Financial Associates hosted its annual charity golf day at Barnham Broom, Norfolk, bringing together clients, partners and local businesses to raise money for three inspiring charities.
On Thursday 11th June, Insight welcomed 26 teams (104 players) to the prestigious Barnham Broom Hotel in Norwich, for a day of golf, networking and fundraising in support of The Clare School, Little Lifts and Blue Bear Freedom.
Despite a little rain, the day was filled with energy, generosity and a strong sense of community – with 130 guests attending the evening dinner and charity auction.
Supporting local and small charities that make a big difference
We are thrilled to announce the grand total raised at our charity golf day was £38,166.74! These funds will go towards supporting our chosen charities for 2026:
- The Clare School – a specialist complex needs school in Norwich that supports pupils who have learning difficulties with physical, medical and sensory needs.
- Little Lifts – providing practical care boxes to every breast cancer patient in East Anglia, and across the UK.
- Blue Bear Freedom – sponsor the restoration, education and empowerment of teenage survivors of trafficking, and raise awareness to the injustice of exploitation.
Each of these charities plays a vital role within the local and wider community, and Insight is proud to support their ongoing work.
A day built on community and support
Event organiser Nicky Groom reflected on the success of the day:

The annual Insight Golf Day continues to be a highlight in the local calendar, bringing together businesses from across Norwich and beyond while raising vital funds for charitable causes that make a real difference within the community.

Charity auction highlights
The evening concluded with a lively charity auction, hosted by Insight Director Jason Howard. The auction featured a wide range of generously donated prizes from local businesses and partners. Highlights included:
- Luxury UK stays and spa experiences.
- Sporting memorabilia such as a signed Norwich City Football Club shirt, a signed Tyson Fury boxing glove and VIP experiences.
- Exclusive event tickets, including international rugby tickets, football premier league tickets, theatre shows and VIP concert tickets.
- Unique local experiences such as a Norwich-based barista masterclass.
- Original paintings by Norfolk artist Rebecca Grant.
Each bid placed on the night contributed directly towards supporting Insight’s nominated charities and the important work they do across the region
