Personal Assistant

Personal Assistant to IFA

To supply administrative support to a financial adviser. You will be working closely with them to organise their diary and assist on preparing the files required for client meetings. You will engage with clients and encourage the adviser to meet targets helping to manage their cases from beginning to end.

Position Requirements

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Making appointments with clients and prospective clients
  • Research on the investment systems
  • Preparing of client annual review and follow up
  • Preparation of analysis of portfolios and funds
  • Insurance provider and product research
  • Process and procedure updates
  • Administrative and compliance duties, including preparing cashflow reports, new recommendation packs and suitability reports

Essential

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Strong written, as well as verbal, communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisational and planning skills

Independent Financial Adviser

Independent Financial Adviser

An experienced financial adviser to assist our clients on ways to manage their finances through cashflow planning whilst maintaining an on-going, reliable service. The role also involves understanding your client’s needs to recommend the most appropriate products and services.

Position Requirements

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Providing advice on a client’s overall finances and making relevant referrals to our sister companies
  • Conducting in-depth reviews of current and future financial circumstances and aims whilst providing an on-going service
  • Preparing and analysing plans best suited to individual client requirements by researching the marketplace and various sources
  • Completing risk assessments and designing suitable financial strategies
  • Maintaining awareness of legislation and financial product changes as well informing clients of any changes that may affect them
  • Supporting each client by providing a trustworthy service and relationship

Essential

  • Level 4 Diploma
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills
  • The capability to explain complex information simply and clearly
  • The ability to network and establish relationships with clients
  • A target-driven mindset
Graduate Adviser

Trainee Financial Adviser

A programme to build up the practical background knowledge necessary to become an effective independent financial adviser. After training as an administrator supplying support to a financial adviser you will look to attain advisory skills, through enhanced product and investment proposition training with fund managers, fact finding, questioning skills, cashflow planning, and shadowing client meetings. For those successful after their 12th week probation, an exam timetable for attaining relevant qualifications for the advisory role will be put into action.

Office Staff

Business Development Coordinator

To assist the growth and development of the business. This involves actively increasing sales by targeting new and existing clients whether that be through organising education presentations, using marketing skills or identifying opportunities in our existing client data. Candidates will need excellent communication skills in order to support advisers with the management of their client lists and new leads. They should be able to work well independently as well as in a team and the ability to manage their own time so that they can adapt to varying daily tasks. Experience in business development or financial services would be beneficial, however, this is not essential as we provide full training.

Position Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting advisers and being the first point of contact for managing their client lists and any new leads that are allocated to them
  • Actively finding opportunities for advisers to contact to generate new business and develop the business
  • Assisting with the process of taking on new acquisitions and organising financial presentations at educational institutions
  • Being commercially aware by keeping up to date with the latest adviser income figures and targets
  • Understanding the back-office systems
